Nature Hands
1.) Octopus Tentacles
The octopus uses suction as hands to catch their
prey and hold things.
2.) Dog Paws
Because mostly dogs walk on four feet and they do
not have protection on their feet, they have small cushions to help them walk easily.
3.) Eagle Claws
I thought claws on almsot every type of birds
represented most closely to human hands. They use these claws to get a good
hold of their prey or to hold on to things and not slip. Birds needs this
function because it mostly lives on in trees and it is not a flat surface so
unless they get a good hold of the branches they will slip.
4.) Horse hands
Like the dog paws, horses also have a support
system
on their feet.
on their feet.
5.) Sea cucumber mouth
Like the tentacles on the octopus, sea cucumbers
also use suction. Even though this image is a picture of a mouth, sea
cucumbers also utilises it to hold on to rocks so they do not just float in the
ocean.
6.) Mosquito legs
Unlike the animals above mosquitos has long legs
and hands so they can easily put their mouth needle inside a flesh.
7.) Gecko hands
Gecko hands has the most grip because they mostly
live on walls or on trees.
8.) Lizard hands
Unlike the gecko, lizards have claws. This is
because their habitat is different to geckos and it mostly live underground.
9.) Bat wings
Even though bats do not have hands, and they have
wings, they utilises their wings as a hand also.It uses to hold on to trees and
climb up some too.
10.)Elephant trunk
Unlike many other animals elephants use their long
trunks to just hold things and get their food easily to their mouth.
